Universal design ensures products, services and environments are accessible and usable by all, irrelevant of personal differences such as age, ability and gender. All users benefit from the removal of access barriers, not just those considered ‘typical’ users. With user involvement being the key to its success, being aware of the breadth of users’ needs and limitations can foster the creation of the most universal design.
How can we help?
Our multi-disciplinary team has experience with design practices in several different domains. Our main focus is to ensure that the diversity of people is represented in design. We can help with activities in all phases of the design process, for instance, running user studies and workshops, concept development and prototyping.
