Client: COOP, Norway
Coop Norway ordered new software, hardware and equipment to make new POS (checkouts) for their shops. Efficiency and effectiveness are key factors. In order to reach the goals, principles of user-oriented interaction design were used.
HFS assisted during the development by providing guidance and advisory work related to both the development process and the solution, incl. analysis of the purchase and transaction process, assessment of early concepts, user/ usability-testing and proposals for improvement.
HFS’s work was based on use of recognised standards, results from research in the field and our broad experience. The work was performed by an HF design specialist and our engineering psychologist.
